since shinjiteiru requested a tutorial on how to use these icon bases/ textures I tried my hand at it. So we are going to create this from this & this



1.Open both documents, resize the larger picture, duplicate it, place it on screen and merge the layers.


2. Drop and drag your texture onto the main picture, do not overlap the pics, you want them side by side.


3.merge both layers, create a new fill layer,a dark blue, set it to exclusion.


4. create another new fill layer, a light gray, set it to color burn. add another new fill layer, a light pink, set it to soft light.

5. create another fill layer, a light yellow, set it to soft light


6. merge all layers, duplicate and set to soft light.


7. for some added design (but not text since it seems unneccesary) I take a brush, (I think it's from hybridgenesis, not sure), create a new layer and place this brush in the middle of the pic.

8. Here is my final result. enjoy.
