Dita Von Teese colouring tutorial.
As requested by
PS users only! Sorry!
PSD included, as usual, my lovelies.
Ok, get your base. I didn't prep mine at all, but you can if you wish. Sometimes I do it after to see how it matches the colouring.
Mine is THIS image of Miss Dita Von Teese (yes, I have been littering images of her everywhere at the moment, so pretty)
//Step 1
New fill layer #5cde3c set to Colour Burn
opacity: 26%
I actually used a very soft rubber and erased some of her skin and face tones 'cos this is such a harsh colour layer.
//Step 2
New fill layer #f7efc3 set to Multiply
//Step 3
Selective colour layer
REDS: -100, 0, 100, 0
GREENS: +78, 0, -100, +100
//Step 4
Hue & Saturation layer
Master sat +14
Green sat: +33
//Step 5
Colour balance layer
MIDTONES: 0, +12, +15
SHADOWS: 0, +19,+19
HIGHLIGHTS: 0, +17, +23
//Step 6
New fill layer #ead5ff set to colour burn
opacity: 52%
//Step 7
New fill layer #06041c set to exclusion
//Step 8
Duplicate the base on top and set to luminosity.
And you're done!
