Okay so this is my first tutorial that I am pasting on here. I like to share but just never got around to it.
So today we will be going from this to
Not translatable. I use photoshop CS2.
1) Crop your picture however you want. After that then do the other stuff you do [sharpen etc.] I didn’t sharpen, mainly because I forget to half the time.
2) Dublicate your base and set it to overlay
3) Duplicate your base once again, set it to screen.
you should get this:
4) Fill colour [layer > new fill layer > solid colour] and put #dadada; set to multiply.
5) Another fill layer and put # 020023 set to Exclusion.
you should get this:
4) Now we need a Brightness and contrast layer.
B= +4
C= -8
6) Add a selective colouring layer. [make sure the relative is checked]
Reds= -32, -28, 27, 17
Yellows= 100, -14, 46, -47
Whites= 53, -25, -36, 32
Neutrals= -13, -9, -24, 19
Blacks= 0, 0, -34, 36
you should get this:
7) Added another selective colouring layer. [make sure the relative is checked]
Cyans= -71, -48, -5, 50
Blues= -47, 33, 31, 32
Magentas= 70, -40, 22, 16
Whites= 39, 10, 13, 6
Neutrals= 19, 4, -19, -2
you should get this:
8) Add a colour balance layer. Make sure the ‘preserve luminosity’ is checked
M= -9, 11, 10
S= 12, 13, -16
H= -12, -8, -6
you should get this:
9) Added another selective colouring layer. [make sure the relative is checked]
Whites= -58, 20, 56, 23
Neutrals= 19, 4, -19, -2
End results!!!!
YOU ARE DONE! Of course you can add text if you like : ) Sorry about all that selective colourings.
I would have other examples but I hardly ever use the same tutorial twice.
