Remember: change the settings depending on your image!
- Start off with your image. Mine is of Avril Lavigne from Avril-Images.net. I wanted to play around with this image.
- Duplicate your base once and set it to Screen 30%. This image is a little too dark, so I decided to brighten it up a bit.
- Duplicate your base again (bring it to the top) and set it to Soft Light 100%. It was too bright after the screen layer, but now it's perfect.
- Make a Hue/Saturation layer with these settings.

This makes the image pop a bit more, which is good because it was pretty dull color-wise. It also raises the yellows so we can play around with Avril's gorgeous blond hair.
- Make a color fill layer with #000074. Set it to Exclusion 40%. I wanted to make it the blacks a little more blue and make it more yellow and add a bit of that "vintage" look everyone uses.
- Make a Selective Color layer with these settings.

- Make a color fill with #693400. Set it to Exclusion 26%. This is to darken up the image a little bit more
- Make another color fill layer with #01001d. Set it to Exclusion 36%. This was to add more of the "vintage" effect.
- Paste this texture in your image:
