Summer Pop tutorial

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
PSCS2, includes selective colour, curves, hue/saturation
In 8 steps, with optional 2 steps

I love colourings were the colours pop out!! And with winter being the season this colouring reminds me of sizzling summers.
If you use it please show me the results! I'm curious to see if it works.

Credit is nice, but not necessary. But don't claim it as your own.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Prepare your base as you wish

2. Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color > #53c5ae, set the layer to soft light 100%

3. Duplicate your base and set it to top. Set the layer at screen 40% (variate if pic demands)

4. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
Red = -100 / +100 / -100 / +100
Yellow = +100 / -100 / -29 / +20
Greens = -100 / -100 / -100 / +63
Cyan = +100 / -24 / -55 / +66
Blues = -100 / -100 / +32 / +12
Magnetas= -100 / -100 / +100 / +55
Whites = +19 / +11 / +43 / -6
Neutrals = -51 / +1 / +21 / -7

5. Again duplicate your base and set it on top on the selective colour layer, set it to pin light 100%

6. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation
Master = 0 / +21 / 0
Red = 0 / +7 / 0
Greens = 0 / +7 / 0
Blues = 0 / +6 / 0

7. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves
RGB = 1th point; Input 118 / Output 60
2nd point; Input 157 / Output 114
3th point; Input 192 / Output 170
Set this layer at 50%

8. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
Red = -16/ +10 / +2 / +5
Neutrals = -9 / -2 / +4 / 0

And your done!! But if the pics comes out to green on some skin tones, you can try the following adjustment.

Optional:
9. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
Yellow = -25 / +76 / -25 / -2
Greens = -100 / +100 / -100 / -100

10. Duplicate your base and put it all on top, set layer to Luminosity at 50% (variate if pic demands)

If it worked the greenish result from step 8 should be better. Like shown beneath. It depends on what you prefer.
