Icon Coloring Tutorial by jaen_lee



Examples:
  

STEP ONE
Crop your image, resize, screen, sharpen, all that good stuff.
Add a New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Coloring:

REDS:
Cyan: -55
Yellow: +31

YELLOWS:
Cyan: -11
Yellow: +8

GREENS:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: -100
Yellow: +100

MAGENTAS:
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100

WHITES:
Yellow: -51

Add another Selective Coloring Layer:

 REDS:
Cyan: +51
Magenta: +41
Yellow: +50

YELLOWS:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: +25
Yellow: -33

CYANS:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: -100
Yellow: -100

BLUES:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: +17
Yellow: +100

NEUTRALS:
Cyan: -24
Magenta: -16
Yellow: -15


STEP TWO
Add yet ANOTHER Selective Coloring Layer. (:

WHITES:
Magenta: -11
Yellow: -12

Then, (You guessed it) add another Selective Coloring Layer. Last one I swear XD

REDS:
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +20
Yellow: +28

YELLOWS:
Cyan: -16
Yellow: +31

WHITES:
Cyan: +44
Magenta: -39


STEP  THREE
Add a New Adjustment Layer >> Color Balance:

Midtones
Color Levels: -33, -10, -17

Shadows
Color Levels: +18, -15, -20

Highlights
Color Levels: -5, +3, +7


STEP FOUR
Add a New Adjustment Layer >> Levels

RBG
Output Levels: 0, 234


LAST STEP
Add a New Fill Layer >> Solid Color

Fill it with #173747;
Set it to Luminosity
Opacity at 30%

Another New Adjustment Layer >> Brightness/Contrast

Brightness: +20
Contrast: +14

And you're done (:
