I have a question about a problem I have with cropping. I use Photoshop CS.



Sometimes when I crop, this odd fade like effect sometimes happen on the edges. It's a bit hard to describe, so I included a close up of what I mean:

(the image is a bit large, so it's a thumbnail)

As you can see, some of the images are perfectly lined up, no gaps. But in the part I circled, it's got that faded effect going on. When I try to create a border using the stroke tool, it creates a line through those faded bits, even when I merge all.

Anyone know how to stop that faded effect from happening?

(And sorry if this makes no sense- I can't brain today)
