I made this gif the other day and though I like it, it didn't turn out the way I wanted

see how it flashes white? I used tween too and I didn't want that. I wanted to blend together like this.

how can I do that without it flashing white?

I use photoshop cs2

okay how to explain this so it makes any sort of sense.....

When you use tween you then have two layers visible in the same animation frame.

You have to make sure that the frame which is underneath in your layers pallett is set at 100% opacity for every animation frame that is transitioning.

For some reason photoshop divies them evenly, when really you only want the frame on top to be getting stronger and stronger then fully visible over the old scene.

Shoot did that make sense??? I can prolly do a screencap to help exlpain what i mean if you need it :D

okay so say you wanted to tween between the two layers here that are visible on the frame (the eye means they are visible):

Do your tweening like normal, then you'd go back to each individual tween frame that was just created and put the Primeval S04E05.avi0197.bmp layer opacity to 100% on each one.

You'd only alter the Primeval S04E05.avi0197.bmp layer because it is below the other layer that is visible.

you'll know you've altered the opacity of the wrong layer if it doesnt look right once you're done.

I hope that helps a little more :D
