A tutorial ...

... somewhere, maybe?

I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the direction of a tutorial on how to do this kind of animation (and what's in the icon I've posted with) in Photoshop Imageready 7.0

- icon from Twinkle Icons

Really, basically, looking to find out how to do the blinky, twinkly animation. Again, if someone can point me to an already existing tutorial.

Thanks in advance.

photoshop question.

Okay, so. Obviously I'm new. I have a question about movie icons.

i have photoshop, but not image ready. i could get image ready, but I want to see if I can just do this plainly. Can I open a movie file (such as .avi) in Microsoft Gift Animator, and then copy the images to my photoshop?

Also, if you don't know how to explain that, could someone give step by step instructions on how to do the movie thing in imageready and photoshop. I couldn't find anything in the archives. I'd really appreciate it. Gracias, mis amigos.

RealPlayer Screencaps

Does anyone know if it's possible to move between individual frames to screencap in Real Player? It never works right for me in Windows Media Player, and the file I'm tyring to screencap from isn't supported by Virtual Dub. So if someone knows how to do this using Real Player or knows of another program I could use, please let me know. :)

Err, I looked through the memories, and didnt see a tutorial for this, but if I missed it, lemme know ^^;

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to to make an icon that has text that looks like it's like...typing itself. I know that's not a good explanation. So I included an icon that might help someone understand what I mean.

[Edit] Whoops, forgot to mention the programs I have. PSP8 and Animation Shop 3 ^^;

Hey everyone. I have a question about script fonts. Whenever I use one, I notice that they don't come out very clear. I use PSP 8 and I do have anti-alias checked. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to get it to look clearer?

Here's an example:
