ok i just put on some new brushes into my program and for some reason now all my brushes are going wacky. so im going to try and explain this as best as i can.

when i click the mouse on a blank canvas nothing happens, what i have to do is hold the mouse down and draw it over a large canvas before it shows. and then when i do that it comes out in all different shades.

does anyone get what i mean? and if i do do they know how to fix it.

Eye problem

I know this has been asked before but I can't find it in the memories. Sorry. :)

How do you make the eyes a different color and make it sharper and make it stand out? I'm not sure if I'm making sense here but I hope you get what I mean.

Hi eveyone. This isn't exactly a question about icons, but more about photoshop.
Is there a way to change the style or hair color you have on a picture with photoshop?
Is there any other way to do it??

Hello, I just need alittle help. When I download textures, they become compressed in a zip folder and I want to know how I can import them into my Photoshop program so I can use them and make icons.

Tutorial - Emphasizing Blues and Greens

For my first tutorial, we shall be creating this icon: Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This is a very simple process that I consistently use for accentuating the blues and greens of a photo. Most other colors will be washed out, leaving the rest of the photo in black and white. Very cool if you're dealing with fashion photography.

An Icon is Never Finished - Icon Tutorial 06
The purpose of this particular tutorial is to show you that there is no end to an icon. There is no limit to the layers you can have or the colors you can add. This tutorial uses only two light textures and one brush. Even if you have minimal brushes, textures, and text, you can still create a totally different icon with just a few layers.

I have a question. I really like to practice with your tutorials!! But in some of them they're using to term "desaturate"....what is it and where can I find it in PSP 8??

Thank you

Tutorial Search

I've been scouring through the archive in hope of finding a particular tutorial.

I think the screencap used featured Angelina Jolie, but I'm not positively sure. The icon was desaturated and a black round brush was used for the upper part of the icon. Sorry if this isn't a very good description of it but that's all I can remember.

Thanks in advance!
