Hello! I never really bothered with making icons ever since my trial expired & even then, I wasn't a great icon maker. I always get lost when following tutorials & what not.
I've follwed the steps & if they asked me to make a new raster layer & set it to one of those options, I'm fine. But I don't understand where & how to get the texture part on the base.
Or maybe if I say it like this.. Uh..
Am I suppose to save the texture & load it as a brush & then paint it on? Or do something totally different?
I'm sorry if it makes no sense. I'll try to clarify it if it is confusing. & sorry if I missed it in the tutorials. If it's been answered in the tutorial, please give me a link. :]
P.S. I'm working with PSP 9.
I have a program question. I looked in the memories but couldn't seem to find what I was looking for (if I missed it, please feel free to slap me), so I guess I'll ask.
I'm running PSP8 and I want to get PSP9, but I'm worried that when I install it, I'll lose all my brushes and whatnot. Will this happen? Should I back up my brushes and plugins just in case?
Thanks for any help. :)
*Edit* Question answered, thank you. :)
Ok, got a question. I know all about smart size resizing and all of that. but i was wondering how is it exactly that some people like i dunno zoom in on a image and just rezise that part, like icons where its just the face or something, is there any way that you can like inlarge a section and resize it or am i just way crazy? thanks. help if ya can:)
This is a tad pathetic, but whatever. I still haven't quite been able to figure out the PSCS equivalent of Burn (the blend mode) in PSP. Help?
Hi, the problem that I'm having seems to be with erasing. I'm using Adobe Photoshop 7 if that is necessary to know. I've been doing tutorials to learn different things, and in some of them with the use of textures, etc. I need to erase certain bits. I make sure the right layer is selected, as in the one with the texture or whatever it is on it, and then I erase. But wherever I erase, it seems to turn the color of whatever foreground color I have selected. This is really frustrating and I didn't see anything in the memories for this, so please help me. Thanks.
Okay, I've been searching forever and I can't find a tutorial I remember seeing on here. It was a header tutorial and I think it had Hermione Granger and Victor Krum at the Yule Ball as the subject. If anyone memorized that and has the link, that would be great. Thanks!
