Photoshop CS screencaps

I'm searching for screencaps of every function in the english version of PS CS. I need them to help me translate the functions into different languages. The plan is to make a community with translations of all the PS functions. If someone wants to make and send those screencaps to me, I would be very happy. You can send them to . Thank you!

I am trying to make text icons in PS CS1. When I use them in msn the text is all blurry. Some text icons that i've taken from communities on LJ work 100%. How's the best way to get sharp, nice looking text icons?

ps: i've tried different formats and such, but it doesn't seem to matter..

Another tut...PSP8

I really liked how this one turned out so I decided to recreate it for a tut…it’s really simple but pretty I think.

We’ll be making this icon: Image hosting by Photobucket using PSP8 but I’m sure it’s transferable to other versions of PSP.

Individual Capping in Virtual Dub

Hi, I've been using virtual dub to capture frame by frame caps to make movie icons, but is there any way to capture frames individually? Like, if I wanted to cap the whole movie, but i didn't want 247163847162736452376 files. Is there a button I'm missing? Thanks ^_^

I know there are a lot of tutorials for my problem but I want a nice simple straight forward one.

My question is how do I make an animation? I don't want it from screen caps but for a layout so that it changes teh image every so often.

I use Adobe Imageready.

Does anyone have a simple tutorial I could use?

Rain effect?

I've got an icon that I want to animate so that it looks like it's raining but I can't find a tutorial on how to do it. I've seen the effect on dozens of icons but can't figure out how to do it. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial with nice, easy steps? I'm using PS7 and Image Ready and am still relatively new so I need a good step-by-step guide :D

i tried searching in the memories.
but nothing came up
(or maybe i missed something)

how do you put black REALISTIC eyeliner?
on the subject of your image?

my first tutorial and simple, too!
i've seen icons with a vibrant look to them and was playing around with bases and found a way to achieve the look.

we're going from this: Image Hosted by to this:Image Hosted by
with only 4 layers!

Looking for lost tutorial

I had this tutorial memorized and the journal was deleted. I can't seem to find another one like it, or maybe I have over looked it. If someone can help me that would be great, here is a description [the best I can remember]:

The tutorial really just involved you outlining your subject in a thick line. Separating them from the background or if you had two pictures. I can't remember much more then that, but I believe that was all there was to it. And well for the life of me I can't recreate the effect myself with out the help of this tutorial. =( I believe there is more to it then using the pint brush to make an out-line.

Thanks to all who help me. The program I use is PS7, but then again I don't know if you'll need this to help me.

Oh I found an example: by michl87
