I always like to figure these things out for myself, but this one has me stumped. I checked the memories, but I couldn't find something that specifically addresses the problem I'm having. I use PS7 and as I was making icons, my smudge tool and brush tool decided they no longer wanted to work. I didn't touch any of the settings, so I'm not sure what triggered it. The smudge tool simply doesn't smudge. Some of my brush tools work, but not the basic hard round and soft round that I really need. If I hold down the mouse button and drag the brush back and forth several times, I'll get the faintest of thin lines that look like scribble marks (even with a large brush setting), but that's the extent of it. The mode is set to Normal and the opacity and flow are both at 100%. I've tried restarting Photoshop and also restarting my computer, but nothing fixes it. Any suggestions?
Is pin light transferable to PSP? I've been trying to figure out what do to when tutorials use "pin light", because I can't find it anywhere in PSP X, which is the program I use.
Hi everyone =)
I was just making an icon using poloroid brushes, and I was just wondering about one thing. What I usually do is, once I have the base of my image, I put a new layer, fill it with white, then put the brush over it in black, and use the background eraser to get rid of the black and only have the white frame. Now, is there any 'ideal settings' I should be using with the background eraser to get it to work efficiently? Or should I just play around with them.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
(I use psp8)
Can someone explain to me how to get those dots in a squiggly line instead of just placing them one by one by yourself? Lol, is it a brush or something like that? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
EDIT: thanks everyone for the advice! I'm pretty sure i can do it now thanks to your help! yay for nice people! :P
hi i'm trying to load some brush packs in psp8, they are .abr but i think they must be for psp9 because i keep getting a 'these are a new version can't load' message, is there any way around it?
I normally just go for image packs but these brush packs have some really nice brushes so i thought it might be worth asking.
