Does anyone know how to create a border around an icon so that the corners more prominent? Um, I'm not totally sure how to describe it, but the corners are darker than the rest of the border... I hope that makes sense!
Thanks so much for your help.
Edit: Sorry, forgot to say I use Photoshop 7.
I'm not sure if this question has been asked or not yet, but how do you copy an image from a DVD playing on the computer? Every time I hit the "print screen" key, it comes up as black. Are there any special programs that don't do this when I play it? Keep in mind it's a VOB file, so I can't even play the movie in some programs.
I'm kind of new to this. Anyways, I have been trying to download textures.. but it won't save them as a photoshop format instead it does JPEG and whatnot.. It also won't let me? How do you download textures? I figured it was the same as brushes.
I checked the memories and didn't find anything related to my question, so here it goes.
I use Photoshop CS. In the middle of working on something the layers all started acting screwy. What do I mean? I would select a layer in the layer toolbox and go to move it on the canvas, but the highlighted layer would move down to another one in the toolbox, and then I would end up moving the wrong layer. I also would try to drag a selected layer from one canvas to another and it would move the selected layer to a lower one. It's getting really frustrating. Did I click something somewhere along the way that made it to where it would move what you have selected on the canvas rather than what you've selected on the toolbox? I hope this explanation made sense and someone can help me out.
Checked the archives, couldn't find it. Apologies in advance if this question's been asked before!
I just got Photoshop 9, and wanted to know how to load textures. I couldn't find the texture palette or icon using the Help program PS has. I'm just starting out using PS 9, I'm a newbie here. Any help would be appreciated!
Ok, so I am having trouble with my Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0. Whenever I save a picture to my computer it is saved as a .art file instead of a .jpg file. Because of this I can not open the file to photoshop so I can make an icon with it. I would very much appreciate someone's help with this if you know what is going wrong!
I changed it so the scratch disk is on the C drive, but later, it started giving me the same message about the scratch disks being full. Is there anyway I can clean the scratch disks?
