tear tutorial

hello everyone.
sorry to bother you. :)
but my computer recently had a huge crashdown. i lost all my favtuts, with that a woonderful teartut. it learned you how to make the most beautiful and realistic tears.
i dont remember where i found it (maybe somewhere here?! Im a big fan of this comm. hihi), but I know I downloaded - and then got a file that gave me great descriptions of how to make the pretty tears. it was very beginnerfriendly and with lots of pics to give everyone the best help ever to create the tears. you also got three styles for your Photoshop. Without the three styles, you dont get anywhere.
well, now I have given you the best description I can give you.
If you cant find this special tut, I'm glad with just a simple teartutorial for PS. :)

(I use Photoshop PS CS2)

and you have to excuse me for my english, its not my first language. but i think i
have made myself pretty clear (!?). at least i hope so. :)

love
/Ida

Okay, so I'm pretty much a newbie at icon making, and I've got a bunch of questions; I've gone through the memories and all that but I'm more confused with the "why" of "procedure" so to speak. Before I found this community, I borrowed a few books from the library that showed me tricks and whatnot, and I had my own "way" of (trying to do) things, so what I'd like to know is why you guys do it this way when I do it that way, and if one way is superior than the other. ^^;;

2 requested tuts

Had these requested by one of my friends who isn't on LJ, but I thought I'd post them here as long as I was writing the tuts anyway :) I did both of these graphics a while back and while I still have the .psd's saved, I may not remember all of the little details, but I'll do my best.

Done in PS 7, but should translate.

Make these 2 graphics:

This is my first tutorial. It's extremely simple... Only six steps.
Made with Photoshop CS2, though I'm sure this works on almost any version of Photoshop.

I used a screen cap of  Uncle Ernie from "Tommy".

Coloring Help

This is similar to my other request, but I would like help with the coloring of icons using game images, kind of like the icon I'm using. Any help would be great!

stock image sites

I don't know if anyone has posted this before, but I checked the memories and couldn't find it. Does anyone know of good stock image sites, preferably ones whose images are watermark-free or I can get them watermark-free by registering? I use Gettyimages mostly, but a lot of the time I can't really find what I'm looking for. If anyone actually answers this, I love you forever. =D Thanks guys!

A cropping tutorial.

Hey everyone, I have a cropping tutorial located at my journal. I hope you find it helpful!

(Secrets being revealed!)

Have you always struggled with cropping? You just can't seem to find an interesting angle or position to place the base? Well, here's the trick I use in Photoshop 7.0 to crop my icon bases. I hope you find it helpful ^^
