Back with another problem :(

Ok so Now I've learnt how to make 100x100 bases in PSP I'm now suffering from another dilehma completley. These bases I make seem to come out very bitty and pixely, I can't do anything about it so currently I've been using LJ to make my bases. addmittingly they come out a little blurry but that's no problem the Sharp-option on PSP isn't able to fix. Is there another way to do this without having to upload a bunch of pics on my LJ account and making the bases you can imagine it takes ALOT of time and it's sorta furiating to have to repeat the same process over and over...

Also PSP seems to crash for some reason when I attempt to add alot of variations on the layers for the icons I make. No idea why :(

How do you get the coloring for this picture?
& idk if it was the camera's doing but is it possible for the clarity of the soda bottles?
I've got Photoshop 7

A question

Hi, sorry to be a bother, and sorry if I've posted this in the wrong spot or something, but I'm attempting to paint on my icon, but instead of having a colour, Photoshop (I use 6.0) wants me to have a shade of grey. Can anyone tell me what I must do to change that?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked, but I looked and I can't find anything on it.

I'm reading a lot of posts that make the a normal picture a lot brighter. From dull to bright, etc.

I see this a lot " Create a new layer. Fill with #fbcdeb. " Something like that. I understand how to make new layers, but I have no idea how to fill it with a color. :S

I use CS. It would be really helpful if someone could help me. =D
