I used to have a bunch of textures that were these little colored squares like this:

But I seem to have mislaid them, can anyone point me in the direction to get some similar?

Does anyone know how I can get her right cheek to not look so rough and pixelated? As you can see I tried Gaussian blurring it and surface but it didn't work and I don't like it that blurry regardless >.>

~Thank you!

I feel stupid asking...

I have no idea what setting I changed but lately I can't paint over one color with the same color without getting a darker shade. It used to stay the same color. I bring a print screen of what I am referring to. I can't explain it too well. I use photoshop elements btw. I have checked the memories but I can't find this problem.

The X over the first part is the 2nd drawn scribble. It should just blend right in and not change color like that.

Anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: haha! Thank you serindrana! I have seen the errors in my way lol.

Could anyone tell me how to get an effect like this?
The cut out in the back of Gerard's head? {the white piece}

And if anyone could tell me how to achieve the font with the box behined it that'd be great.
No one knows what font thats called? Sorry for asking so much. Id be happy if I just knew how to do the cut out effect :D

This icon was made by the wonderful wild_musings. Id ask her but shes busy with SATS so...Thanks :]

Made in: Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0
Translatable: Yes (to PSP at least, GIMP I don't know about)

Photoshop help

Hi, I hope this isn't against the rules, but I was making icons today and I was getting really frustrated because they were turning out really weird. The painting just didn't look right. So I click on brushes and I see this O_O

Airbrush and all those other little settings are like... under lock! It happened just today, because it was fine yesterday. I have no clue whatsoever what caused it and how to fix it. I've never even seen those lock thingies next to the options before! Anyone have any ideas? t_t
