movement problem in ps7

so anytime i try to use the movement arrow to move an image or text it doesn't move right. it sort of locks into certain spaces which makes it difficult to center or line up text. hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about. does anyone else have the same problem and, more importantly, know how to fix it?

Icon Question

I know you guys get A LOT of questions like these but I need your help. Does anyone know how I can get the effect of the icon below? Not just the coloring but the swirly looking background? It looks like it might be a gradient, but I can't tell. I have both PS 7 and PSP7.

Is there a way to change the color of type once you've committed it? For instance, if I'm working on something and I do my text in black, but later on, I decide that I want it to be white or another color, is there anyway to change it without having to retype the text? I thought I saw it in the PS help files once when I was looking for something else, but I can't locate it now.

I use PS CS2. TIA!

This is an odd request, but I would like to ask if anyone have BANNER TUTORIAL LISTS or something for large graphics. All kinds of tut lists would be good. I hope this kind of request is okay! Thanks! =]

Colour quality reduction in photobucket.

I've recently moved from a windows laptop to a MacBook and from PS7 to PSCS2. I save my icons as .pngs and they didn't lose any colour depth when I uploaded them to photobucket, however since I've moved I've noticed a slight reduction in colour quality when I upload to photobucket. The colours lose their depth and appear less rich. It's not seriously noticeable but is there any reason for this or is it just something I'm going to have to get used to?

I have looked in the memories but I could really only find things relating to saving for web to preserve transparencies, so if I have missed something, I'm sorry.

I know all of you guys here are great icon makers. But, I'm still working on my icon skills. I have a question, and I hope this is allowed. How do some of you guys out there make over 100's of icons. The most I think I've ever made was 36 icons, and that took I think the whole month of January. I noticed some icon makers consistantly make 100's of icons each week, and I don't know how they do it. So, for all of you talented icon makers I'd really love to know how you have the patience to make icons so fast, and how basically do you do it within a week period? Do most of you just use tutorials, or do you make your own coloring?

Hello everyone,

This is my (first) question to you all you talented folk - I'm trying to recreate this effect... I found a picture that I think would look hilarious as an icon with that sort of rainbowy-ish thing. =)

http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3010/dairotads6.gif

I use Photoshop CS 2, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to animate them, nor how to get that spiffy rainbow colour.

Image is from PokemonCrater forums, from a user by the name of "Xous." I would ask the original maker... But I thought possibly you guys could help more. =D Not to mention I don't want to join a forum just to send one PM. >.>

But yes... That is my question to you all. Any help is greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance!
