Hi everyone! **waves**
What is the difference (other than $$$ of course) between Photoshop Elements and CS3. I obviously want to do more than just crop. I want to be able to apply layers and other fun elements to create stunning icons as well. Will Elements be enough or does one really have to have CS3 (and spend $700; which is more than what my camera is worth).

Edit:
if I do choose Elements; will I be able to creative animated icons? with my old PS7, I could use Image Ready.

Animation Shop 3

Hey guys,

Forgive me if this has been asked a million times already, but everything I'd found was for Image Ready. I was wondering if there was a way to maintain the quality of the base in Animation Shop 3?? What I mean is, I've started trying my hand at .gifs, really basic stuff just to kind of get the feel of the program, but when I go to save it kind of pixilates it:

See what I mean?? Is there anyway to save it without it automatically optimizing the file??

First tutorial ever, XDD.

Pretty simple, 5 steps. Using PS CS3, includes a selective color layer, so it's not translatable. Sorry! :{
All it is really showing  is how to take an image with waaaay too much green and cyan into a nicely colored icon.

[Help XD;]

Hello! I've been lurking for a long time now and I have come to love the tutorials given here so kudos to you guys! x3 ♥
I have a question though. I've been wondering how to do this little white background trick thing.
I know it must be a simple technique but for some reason I keep forgetting how to do it. XD

Here's an example;

I don't want it animated of course, I just want to know how to get that white sorta border around them
Much appreciation! ♥
