Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm trying to figure out how to make round edges on my icons, but i've forgotten how!

I want to make an image like that, making the images of the person (in this case, Taylor Handley) have round edges (as seen in my mood theme picture). I've done it before on Paint Shop Pro X, but on this computer i'm on now I have Photoshop CS3 and can't remember how to do it!

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, this is driving me mental!

I posted this in icon_coloring the other day and didn't get any answer. :/ So yeah I'm hoping you guys could help me out.

I'm looking for a pretty, soft, natural coloring (maybe something similar to the icon i'm using). Hopefully something that works with a lot of images. :) Thanks in advance. Btw I use PS7.

I checked the memories, but I couldn't find anything... maybe you all can help me. I am looking for a good coloring tut that would be good to use on caps of marie antoinette. A coloring that is kind of light and brings out light blues and light pinks.

I use pscs2!

Thank you all in advance!

From this to this using Photoshop 7.0.

And from this to this:  using Paint Shop Pro 7.0.

It's bunched up together in the one tutorial, if you don't have or don't want to use Photoshop for the first part, than you can just skip to the paint shop pro part and use the colouration techniques you want to use. It's basically one big icon tutorial on how to make this icon from this image. Please note that this is image heavy.

Umm, i think the tutorial is best used for images like the one i used that have portions of face or item with large, plain backgrounds. However, you're welcome to use whatever you'd like.

The tutorial is aimed at people who know where the functions of either program are (depending on whether you use Photoshop or not), but i tried to simplify and explain it all as well as where the functions are.

Anyway, you can follow this link for the Photoshop bit. Or you can go straight to the Paint shop Pro bit.

I did everything on this tutorial, but when I do "stroke" path and delete my path, instead of a line, it produces dots. This never happened until now, I've been using this tutorial for a while and it just happens.
