there's something wrong with my Photoshop.
when I opened it today, the whole side-bar at the right was gone. Poof. Gone.
I restarted it but it's still not there.
Any ideas? thanksss :)
does anybody know how to create this effect? it's like making the pic look older. i've been trying to make my pics look older by modifying the hue/saturation option, but it doesn't seem to work. do you know any tutorial? I use PS7. thanks in advance

The color effect and the little lens glare is what I am hoping to recreate with some of my pictures. I have Photoshop CS2 if that makes any difference. I appreciate any help in advance. Thanks you guys!

For those of you that were curious on how to do the coloring like I've used in making my Jay Chou icons, (and pretty much any other icon I make...) you can now read a tutorial that takes you step-by-step through the method! It's probably the simplest, and most effective way to color any image on Photoshop, with minimal steps. I am using Photoshop CS3 Extended. Tutorial is translatable. :)
