text help

i made these icons ages ago on psp9;

i have photoshop now and i don't know how to make the text get smooshed together like that, i don't even remember the word for it.

anyone got any ideas? is it even possible on photoshop?

edit solved :D

Quick question

I dug through the archives and went back quite a bit but didn't find what I was looking for.

Does anyone have any good tutorials for those gritty, grungy black and white icons? I always have trouble with those, which boggles my mind cause it seems like it should be easy.

Thanks in advance!

Atonement tutorials

We'll be going from to and from to in 5 steps in PS CS3 (but you should be fine with other versions of PS). Involves selective colouring and hue/saturation layers.

This tutorial was made for xxrouxx  , who requested it. I used the bases that were provided. I don't know who made them. If you do, please let me know so I can credit them.
