[Mod Post] Moderated Posting Warning

Hi gang,

I thought I'd give you a heads up a few days early, although I will post a reminder again when I change the settings.

Traditionally, icon_tutorial changes to moderated posting from December 24th until sometime in January. This year, that will be during the week of January 5th.

The main reason for this is volume. Many, many people receive new computers and new software as Christmas gifts and, in a rush of holiday euphoria, run straight for the "post" button without the patience to read through what has come before. In addition, as all schools and many workplaces are out on a break, the number of people sitting at home playing with software increases dramatically.

This has a few major consequences for you, the member.

1.) It may take several hours (possibly, in a few cases, even a day or two) for your post to show up in the community after you make it. Please don't keep reposting; that just makes the queue harder to moderate.

2.) Some posts that do technically qualify within the rules will be rejected from the queue. If we see 7 or 8 posts in the queue all at once asking how to, say, make a yellow image look more red, then we'll pick the best one and run with it. So please make doubly sure you read at least the front page, if not the first few pages, before asking a question. Your issue may be covered in someone else's post!

3.) Posts will show up in clusters. Last year we got pretty good about just releasing 2-4 posts at a time every couple of hours, but every now and then something will happen where two mods each release a dozen posts within short proximity of each other. If that happens, just roll with it.

If you have any questions about moderated posting, please feel free to ask them below!

Happy holidays to anyone celebrating any this December!

what happens is that for the first few minutes or so, it will let me do everything fine with no problem, then right in the middle of the project it stops working and i get this error message every time i go to click something

it won't even let me save the project i'm working on.

If anyone could help with this, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm trying to find a good colouring tutorial for this icon;
Photobucket
Something that will make it a bit brighter, and less yellow.
I've looked through a lot of tutorials, but I can't seem to find anything that I'm looking for. :(

Thanks in advance.
