Hi, It's my first time posting here!

It's not about icons, but it could apply if you want to do something similar with an icons.

So I have a banner, with pics on it and I want to put an animation in there like This (click on the banner previews).

But the problem is that every time I place it in the banner file, I don't have the animation, just a picture.

Could someone help me?

Oh yeah, I'm using Photoshop CS2 and Imageready.

(Mods if it not ok, please tell me and I will remove the post)

Opening older files into newer Photoshop?

I realize this is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering if it's possible to open a file from an older version of Photoshop in a new version? I have a bunch of PSD files saved from Photoshop 7.0 (after I make an icon I almost always do this in case I want that exact coloring/trick again), and if I were to upgrade to the CS line, would they become virtually useless? I didn't see this anywhere in the tags, if it's there I apologize - just point me to the link.

i've been trying just about everything i can think of to brighten up this Gossip Girl cap and nothing seems to work - it either totally mutes out the picture and looks like crap or turns out too orange and ugly. i'm usually pretty good with fixing the color on screencaps but this one just seems to be a lot harder to fix. it would be so appreciated if anyone could point me in the direction of a tutorial or give me some tips on fixing a screencap like this one. thanks so much for any help!
