(no subject)

Okay, just started today, or well last night with my new program, PS CS3, my artwork when saved in Jpeg or png file is is darker than what is supposed to be. I tried to google the answer and find this site--but it did not help me.

my color settings are:
Settings: Custom
RGB: SRGB IEC61966-2.1
CMYK: U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2
Gray: Dot Gain 20%
Spot: Dot Gain 20%

Color Management Policies:
RBG: Convert to Working RGB
CMYK: Preserve Embedded Profiles
Gray: Preserve Embedded Profiles

Image > Mode > RGB Color, 8 bits, channel.

Anyone got any ideas?

All pics are *not* created equally: A comprehensive guide on lighting up different pictures

I decided to make a little tutorial on the basics of different techniques to light up different pictures. I'm bored, and maybe someone will get some use out of it :P This is VERY image heavy and is very long. I have tried to include step-by-step directions for each technique and screen-shots of everything that is hard to explain in words.

Program: Photoshop 7.0
Difficulty: Easy, for beginners!
Translatable: Yes, should be for most versions of Photoshop
