How do I invert a layer mask in Gimp?
I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I haven't used Photoshop in years, and I suddenly can't remember how to do this really easy thing.
I use Photoshop CS (old-fashioned, I know), and I know how to create a colored shape (let's say rectangle) and then using the blend options to add a colored border through the stroke setting.
But! What if I just want a transparent rectangle with a black border? I don't want it to have a solid color (even white), but I do want that black line creating a rectangular shape.
I tried drawing the rectangle with 0% opacity but then even a 1 pixel black stroke leaves the entire rectangle colored black.
Again, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'd really like to know, and I can't seem to figure it out/find a tutorial on it.
Thanks in advance!
