(no subject)

I've used both this program ImageGrab and Power DVD and successfully captured the image I wanted, but both came out in Bitmap image formant. My question is is there anyway I can make them into GIF, PNG, or JPG files without downloading another program? I have windows XP. I'll download another program if I have to but I'd rather not if it's not necessary. Or is there a program that will automatically have screen captures come out as one of those formats? Thanks in advance.

A hopefully common problem,

http://i42.tinypic.com/vyaazd.gif

see the animated icon? the background is gray and it looks a bit grainy, right?

it doesn't look like that when i edit on imageready, only when i preview it on IE 7. I use Vista Home Edition and I know it has something to do with optimization being funy, but i'm powerless to change it and have been for days.

can anyone help?

Color Picker?

I haven't messed with any of the settings in PS (CS2) lately, but all of the sudden, when I click to pick up a color, it's changed.

Does anyone know how to get back to the other way? It was like a bigger version of the color gradient. I'm blanking on how to describe it, sorry!

I'm sorry if this is really simple, but I've never had this happen to me. I looked through the memories for Errors in PS, but didn't see anything that fit this. I'm sorry if I overlooked it!
