Pixie

Please help if you can.

So I am fairly new to the whole Photoshop thing and need help urgently. I don't know if this comm will be able to help me or not but I am going to try.

I have the following image that I need to clean up: take out all the white (except for the heart that needs to be there), and make the background transparent not black. And it needs to be 1561 x 958 pixels.

If anyone can help me that would be awesome, it is a project for the shelter I work for.

Thank you in advance!

Rotating or Mirroring a single layer in Photoshop?

I realize that this is probably going to be an easy answer I'm too stupid to see it, but I'm used to PSP and I'm kinda set in my ways with it.  In PSP, when I have multiple layers, and then I want to add a texture and mirror it, all I have to do is Image > Mirror.  But there is no option like that in Photoshop CS3.  I can see where it says Image > Rotate Canvas in PS3, but that's rotating the whole thing.  What if I want to rotate or mirror just the one layer with the texture?  *blush*  Thanks in advance.

Screencaping Question

I hope it's O.K to ask this here, as it relates to making icons even if its not specifically about an icon.

I was wondering if anyone knows how to screencap bluray movies like you can with DVDs in KMPlayer/VLC Media player etc.  I have looked everywhere but can't find anything, but have saw people posting bluray screencaps before.  The reason I am asking if that I want to screencap a few bluray movies I have in order to make icons/walls etc. out of them and even share the caps.

Thanks in advance
