Beautiful and Easy Icon Colouring

This tutorial was made in PSP8, but should be translatable for PS.
I made this beautiful tutorial a while ago.
Learn in 12 easy steps how to go from:

Here's the easy tutorial. Hope you enjoy!
(This tutorial probably wouldn't suit all icons)

Remind that the names I used are in Paint Sho Pro 8.

Step 01. Start "Sharpen" the image.
If your picture is already HQ, you don't need to do this.

Step 02. "Screen" (blend mode) your picture with about 75%.
This depends on the lightness of the picture you're using.

Step 03. Go to: Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Curves.
Following settings:

Channel: Blue

Input: 254
Output: 208

(Note: It's important that you do not write these numbers in the boxes. Just click on the screen and move your mouse to the correct numbers).

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.

Step 04. Copy and paste the texture below as a new layer and set blend mode to "Exclusion" 100%.

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.

Step 05. Copy and paste the coloured image below as a new layer and set blend mode to "Multiply" 100%.

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.

Step 06. Choose Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Brightness/Contrast.
With the following settings:

Brightness: 30
Contrast: 21

Step 07. Choose Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Curves.
With the following settings:

Channel: Blue
Input: 253
Output: 216

(Note: Again in this step, it is important that you do not write these numbers in the boxes. Just click on the screen and move your mouse to the correct numbers).

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.

Step 08. Duplicate the base layer and set blend mode to "Soft Light" 100%. (Maybe: Duplicate again).

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten

Step 09. Choose Image > Greyscale

Now press: CTRL + C and next press CTRL + Z (Undo Last Command).

Step 10. Press CTRL + L (Paste as new Layer). And set blend mode to "Lighten" 100%.

Next: Layers > Merge > Merge All Flatten.

Step 11. Duplicate the base layer and set blend mode to "Hard Light" 100%.

Step 12. Choose Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation/Lightness.
With the following settings:

Saturation: 44
Hue: 0
Lightness: 0

Step 13. Choose Layers > New Adjustment Layer > Curves
With the following settings:

Channel: Blue
Input: 253
Output: 211

Step 14. You're done now! Good luck and Enjoy ! =)
