Just a note, this colouring is best used with pictures with a lot of purple or with deep reds - like Kate Walsh coloured hair. Have fun! Love to see your results as well :) Please don't claim as your own work.
Crop your base and sharpen your image.
(also… this particular example doesn't call for it, but if you need to Duplicate the image and set to Screen.)
#1. Solid Colour #f2e2cc - set to Soft Light.
#2. Selective Colour
R: -100, 0, +100, 0
Y: +100, 0, -100, 0
N: +50, 0, -12, +5
#3. Colour Balance
Mid: +20, 0, 0
RGB - add 1 point
(Output) 136, (Input) 115
Top Right Corner Point : 213, 255
Bottom Left Corner Point : 46, 0
Top Right Corner Point : 93, 255
Bottom Left Corner Point : 224, 0
- Set Curves Layer to Soft Light.
**And that's it for the colouring. This next step is OPTIONAL, I just included it to finish off the example.**
#6. Crop a specific section of the picture, in this case her eyes. Paste it on top of the coloured base. Give it a Black and White Colour Overlay and a Drop Shadow. And voila!
