Tutorial:Super Junior;

I believe this works better for really dark blue-ish images like this one D: it depends. The coloring in this isn't so bright, but it's a simple alternative,I think.
TO
-Made in photoshop cs.
-Includes channel mixer,hue/saturation,and exclusion layers.
-No selective coloring
-.psd available if needed :3

01.
First we start with our base. Ugly, right?Let's make this icon as pretty (or at least close to) as the boys in it!

02.
Let's start by shining some light in there. Why so dark, you guys?
Duplicate your base layer and set it to screen,100% opacity.

03.
Barely a difference,BUT it slightly sharpens the dark colors in your image,so duplicate your base AGAIN and set it to soft light, 20% opacity so it won't look too dark, since we just un-darkened it.

04.
This,my friends,is where channel mixer works its magic. Now I know my tuts recently have so much of this, but it works wonders, trust me. Without channel mixer,it would probably take a bit more to spruce this thing up.
So,make a new channel mixer layer, and give it these settings:
Red:
156
0
0
0
Blue:
0
0
90
0

05.
To make the colors a bit stronger, make a new hue/saturation layer and give it the following settings. I'm only listing the middle number,AKA saturation. This should be the numbers you have for it:
Master: 12
Reds: 35
Yellows: 20
Greens: 12
Cyans: 29
Blues: 20
Magentas: 20

06.
Now,for the final touch,we make a new layer, and fill it with a dark red. I used #430101. Set this layer to exclusion at 30% opacity. This makes the colors not look too overwhelming without making it look paler like in step 04.

So you're done!:D I hope this tutorial helps in any way~let me know if you need the psd ^^
